Dr. Korenko is an experienced expert in the application of economics, finance and econometrics to numerous areas of litigation and complex business matters, including:

He has provided written and oral expert testimony and prepared public policy studies. His experience spans a variety of industries, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, computer hardware and software, chemicals, automotive, and others.

Voted Outstanding Teacher in Business and Economics by his students, Dr. Korenko prides himself in his ability to communicate complex issues in a straightforward manner.  He has published on topics relating to intellectual property, transfer pricing, and public policy issues and has presented on issues in these areas to a variety of audiences.  His work on intellectual property protection in developing countries has been translated into Spanish and distributed in South America, and he has presented at international conferences in Mexico and Brazil.  Most recently, Dr. Korenko was a lead author on a report to Congress on the possible securitization of mortgage assets by the Federal Home Loan Banks, and helped to develop a novel method for generating stress scenarios for financial institutions.

Education

Dr. Korenko received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his M.A. and B.S. in Economics from Virginia Tech.
