Dr. Gregory K. Leonard Presented at ABA Conference in Beijing


Dr. Gregory K. Leonard participated in a panel discussion on merger analysis at the “Antitrust in Asia: China” conference held by the ABA Section of Antitrust Law on May 21-23, 2014, in Beijing, China.

Dr. Leonard addressed the types of economic analyses used in merger reviews and their application in China. 

Edgeworth economists have a long history of involvement in antitrust and intellectual property issues in China. Our experts have provided advice and comments to each of the three Chinese antitrust agencies and the Chinese courts during the drafting of their regulations, and have served as outside consultants to the Anti-Monopoly Bureau under the Ministry of Commerce in two recent cases–Thermo Fisher/Life Technologies and UPS/TNT Express.
