Stephen P. Rusek has expertise developing strategic recommendations for clients across a wide variety of business and litigation matters. He specializes in conducting innovative economic and financial analyses in the areas of intellectual property; valuation in the context of mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital and private equity investments; and securities litigation. He also has presented and written extensively on topics including company valuation, strategic licensing, and transfer pricing issues.

Mr. Rusek has over a decade of experience performing and conducting thorough and careful consumer and market research, competition analyses, financial statement analyses, and revenue and cash flow forecasting. He regularly devises and applies rigorous analytical models to identify opportunities and evaluate critical business decisions for clients in a variety of industries, including semiconductor, software, mobile phone, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, financial services, and consumer goods.

An effective leader of multidisciplinary teams, Mr. Rusek has extensive experience proposing and implementing business development plans and managing multiple client relationships. He regularly presents his analyses and results to a wide range of audiences, including outside counsel, executives, clients’ operational personnel, and government officials.

Mr. Rusek earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and his MEng degree from Cornell University, where he also received his BA in mathematics. He is also a CFA charterholder.
