Dr. Parker Normann Selected as Finalist for Global Competition Review’s 2013 Economist of the Year
Edgeworth Economics partner and antitrust expert Dr. Parker Normann has been selected as a finalist for the Global Competition Review’s 2013 Economist of The Year award.
Dr. Normann is an antitrust economist with more than a decade of experience applying economic techniques to litigation, mergers, and regulatory matters for some of the world’s largest and best known companies. He has extensive experience in presenting complex economic concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike. Dr. Normann has been the lead economist in numerous high-profile merger and litigation cases, in which he provided expert counseling, analysis, expert testimony, and written reports.
“I am honored to have been nominated for an award from such a distinguished organization like GCR,” said Dr. Parker Norman. “The nomination is really a reflection of the talented people at Edgeworth that I am so fortunate to work with every day.”
GCR nominates five individuals globally whose superior technical skill, practical judgment and excellence in client service demonstrate their excellence in the field. Here at Edgeworth, we know Dr. Normann embodies all of these characteristics and is well-deserving to be among the finalist chosen.
“I am delighted to offer my congratulations to my colleague Dr. Parker Normann on his selection as a finalist for the Competition Economist of the Year Award from the GCR,” said Dr. John Johnson, CEO and President at Edgeworth Economics. “Parker has distinguished himself in the antitrust community both through his expert litigation and merger advisory work. He has earned the trust of clients around the world, and his reputation as a highly thoughtful, careful economist is only further validated by this honor.”
Previously, Dr. Normann led a team of Edgeworth Economics experts that won the 2012 Matter of the Year award from the Global Competition Review for excellence in demonstrating creative, strategic and innovative work.
