Fei Deng Joins Edgeworth to Lead Economic Consulting for Asia Pacific Litigation, Antitrust, IP


WASHINGTON, DC -- Edgeworth Economics today announced the addition of Dr. Fei Deng as Senior Vice President of Edgeworth’s new San Francisco office, effective immediately.  She joins Dr. Gregory K. Leonard to expand Edgeworth’s global economic consulting coverage to the West Coast and the Asia-Pacific region.

Dr. Deng’s areas of global economic consulting expertise encompass antitrust litigation, mergers and acquisitions, class actions, intellectual property, commercial damages, and ITC 337 cases.  She has substantial experience advising Asia-based clients faced with litigation in the US and EU.  Dr. Deng is also an economic expert in antitrust and IP policies of the People’s Republic of China and has served as a consultant to the Antimonopoly Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce.

Dr. Deng is an editor of the ABA publication Antitrust Source.  Her publications have appeared in Antitrust Law JournalAntitrustAntitrust SourceGlobal Competition Policy, and Law360, including an article on public interest issues in ITC 337 cases, “Considering Welfare in ITC Exclusion Order Cases” co-authored with Dr. Leonard; and an article on antitrust class actions, “Economic Analysis in Indirect Purchaser Class Actions” co-authored with Drs. Leonard and Johnson.
