Dr. Ashley Zhou has extensive experience conducting quantitative economic and econometric analysis and in applying microeconomic, financial, and accounting principles to a broad range of issues related to antitrust, intellectual property, securities and finance, and damages in commercial disputes. She has provided support to clients in numerous cases in all phases of litigation, arbitration, and regulatory review processes, including discovery, expert reports, depositions, hearings, and trials.

Dr. Zhou’s casework spans a broad range of industries including pharmaceuticals and healthcare, software and internet technologies, consumer products, retail, financial services, manufacturing, and oil and gas. Across these fields, she has extensive experience in leading teams of consultants to conduct empirical analyses of economic issues and presenting analytical insights in expert reports.

Her academic research focused on time series forecasting. In her dissertation, Dr. Zhou studied the use of high-frequency financial market signals to predict the state of the macro economy and publicly-traded firms’ quarterly earnings.
