Edgeworth Pro Bono Analysis Relied on to Reach Favorable Settlement for Opera Singer

A trained opera singer was arrested in Alexandria while busking and held overnight in jail.  The arrest impacted her ability to earn money as a busker and prevented her from having other channels of income due to the publicity the arrest received.  Edgeworth was brought on board to calculate damages including lost wages, costs of doctor’s visits, and more.  The analysis was used by counsel to assist the plaintiff in receiving a favorable settlement.  The case was settled with the City of Alexandria.
