Edgeworth Economics Analyzes Injuries for the NFL Players Association

Washington, D.C. – Edgeworth Economics has prepared a report titled “Dangers of the Game” for the NFL Players Association, analyzing player injuries in the 2010 regular season. This report was recently featured in a cover story on Esquire.com.  Edgeworth found substantial increases in injury frequency and severity in the 2010 season. Edgeworth also analyzed injury data from 2002-2009 and reached conclusions regarding the impact of injuries on player salaries and retirement rates.
