05.16.2013

Edgeworth Economics is excited and proud to join the A Billion + Change campaign. Through this campaign, Edgeworth economists have pledged to contribute 1,200 hours of pro bono service in 2013.

Edgeworth economists have been committed to providing numerous hours of pro bono professional service since the founding of the firm. Employees have given their time and talents to our community in a number of ways, including:

  • Appleseed Network.  Edgeworth has made substantial contributions to the Appleseed Network of social justice centers, both financially and with pro bono professional services.  Edgeworth economist have worked with Appleseed to ensure school children receive adequate nutrition so they are ready to learn, analyze market regulation to be sure they’re fair to the vulnerable, and fix inadequate responses to elder abuse.
  • DC Taxicab Drivers. Edgeworth economists have provided pro bono analyses on behalf of DC taxicab drivers during hearings before the DC Taxicab Commission.
  • DC Legal Aid. We have provided pro bono services in partnership with DC Legal Aid in support of single mothers seeking child support.
