Dr. John Johnson Appointed to Appleseed Board of Directors

Washington, D.C. - Edgeworth Economics LLC is pleased to announce that Dr. John Johnson has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Appleseed. Appleseed is a nonprofit network of public interest justice centers and professionals dedicated to building a just society through legal, legislative and market-based structural reform across the United States and Mexico. Appleseed’s Executive Director, Ms. Betsy Cavendish, commented on Dr. Johnson’s appointment, “It takes an interdisciplinary team to make the legal and policy changes for justice and opportunity that we seek. Through his pro bono work and his board service, Dr. Johnson is adding a critical skill set to Appleseed’s prestigious board of directors. As the President and CEO of Edgeworth Economics LLC, Dr. Johnson uses state of the art econometric techniques and economic theory to analyze complex datasets in antitrust and labor/employment litigation. He has worked on a number of pro bono litigations and previously assisted Appleseed’s Life Long Justice Team with data analysis that helped shape policy in the elder care field.
