Ryan Kenney specializes in data analysis for labor and employment issues. He frequently constructs and analyzes large and complex data sets from multiple sources and has extensive experience in wage and hour as well as discrimination matters.

With regards to wage and hour matters, Mr. Kenney has conducted numerous analyses of class-wide claims concerning meal and rest breaks, improper rounding, regular-rate calculations, off-the-clock work, misclassification, and application of associated PAGA penalties. His work also includes supporting clients in pay equity analyses and in conducting statistical modelling to analyze adverse impact claims against gender, race/ethnic, and age protected groups. He has experience in class action matters with a focus on exposure calculations under alternative scenarios, as well as additional experience developing arguments for expert testimony and critiques of opposing experts’ analyses for single plaintiff claims. In addition to his labor practice, he has provided consulting on antitrust matters focusing on assessing damages in price-fixing cases.

Mr. Kenney often manages teams of consultants in support of expert testimony and consulting engagements. His casework spans a broad range of sectors and has included notable casework in the healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, information technology, food and beverage, and retail industries.

Mr. Kenney received his MA in economics from Boston University and his BA in economics and political science from McGill University.
