George Lynch is an economist specializing in the practice areas of class certification and damages. He is skilled at developing and analyzing complex datasets for large-scale antitrust class action litigation cases and has extensive experience in class action suits related to antitrust and labor and employment discrimination matters.
In the area of labor and employment, Mr. Lynch has conducted statistical modeling of discrimination issues in hiring, pay, and promotion and damages analyses for wrongful termination suits as well as labor force diversity analyses and benchmarking to determine impacts and outcomes from the relocation of operations. In the area of antitrust, he has experience working with clients to produce and assess large scale databases as part of data discovery, conducting statistical testing of econometric models related to class certification issues, and addressing the economics of price fixing, monopolization, and market allocation claims as well as preparing arguments regarding vertical foreclosure issues stemming from horizontal mergers.
Mr. Lynch’s additional experience includes developing arguments for expert testimony and managing teams and workflows supporting those efforts. His casework spans a broad range of sectors and includes the food & beverage, transportation, pharmaceuticals, automotive, construction materials, and airline industries.
