Labor and Employment Expert Dr. Stephen Bronars Joins Edgeworth Economics

Edgeworth Economics is pleased to announce that Dr. Stephen G. Bronars has joined the firm as a Partner in the Washington, D.C., office. Dr. Bronars is an economic and statistical expert specializing in the area of labor and employment. He testifies and consults on a variety of issues, including class certification and liability issues in discrimination matters, selections in hiring, and wage and hours disputes. Dr. Bronars brings his expertise in the statistical analysis of large, complex databases to both class actions and single plaintiff cases at the federal and state levels.

Dr. Bronars has held faculty positions at Yale University; Georgetown University; the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania; the University of Texas at Austin; the University of California, Santa Barbara; and Texas A&M University. He has published extensively on the topics of labor economics, econometrics, and microeconomics, among others. His analysis and commentary has been featured on CNN’s The Situation Room and Good Morning America, as well as by the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Bloomberg, among others. Dr. Bronars has participated in Senate committee meetings, working to draft new legislation regarding immigration matters.

Dr. Bronars earned his Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from the University of Chicago and his B.A. in economics from the University of Illinois.
