Dr. Stephanie Cheng is an economist and an expert in providing economic insights through rigorous analysis to clients facing legal disputes and investigations. Her work focuses on several areas including commercial litigation, antitrust, labor and employment, and mergers and acquisition analysis across a broad range of industries including entertainment, education, consumer goods, and natural resources.  Dr. Cheng has extensive experience leading teams of consultants to conduct empirical analyses of economic issues and presenting analytical insights in expert reports. Throughout her work, she excels in presenting complex data findings and implications in a clear and accessible way to attorneys and other non-economists.

Dr. Cheng's academic research focused on economic analysis related to labor economics, the economics of science, and innovation. In her dissertation, she examined factors affecting the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) trainee labor market and provided insight into improving diversity in the scientific workforce. She regularly presents to audiences at industry and academic conferences on a variety of topics impacting litigation, business, and our economy.

Dr. Stephanie Cheng earned her PhD and MA in economics from Harvard University. She earned her BS in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
